| Background:

Al’s career as a financial professional began in 1983
with a large institutional financial services company, providing
financial planning, the management of securities, insurance
and pension programs. In 1988, he founded what is now, Marina
Capital Management, Inc. to provide professional financial
consulting and management services to the business, institutional
and private sectors. As a Christian, Al, is thankful for the
Grace of God in his life, is active in his church ministries
and supports biblical principles concerning financial planning
and personal stewardship. Al is often asked to be a guest
speaker for seminars and workshops and is a resource to government,
professional, business, church and non-profit groups. He is
currently a member of the Financial Planners Association (FPA),
The Registry of CFP Practitioners, and The International Association
of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC), and The South
Bay Estate Planning Council. He has served on; the Board of
Directors for The Los Angeles Society of ICFP as Program Chairman;
Professional Advisory Councils and Investment Committee for,
Torrance Memorial Medical Center Health Care Foundation, and
The El Camino College Foundation, as well as, The Planned
Giving Committee for Little Company of Mary Community Health
Foundation. |
